Which led him to create a virtual workshop Leadership in Product, Connect & Explore Workshop for Teams that provides actionable strategies, tools, processes, and skills product leaders need to create innovations, adapt to market shifts, and anticipate what’s next.
Centech is dedicated to high-tech (deeptech) companies with high growth potential. It is a non-profit organization fueled by ÉTS open to everyone and offers two support programs for startups: the acceleration program (12 weeks), then the strongest potentials are selected to get into the propulsion program (24 months). Centech performs particularly well in the fields of medical technology, manufacturing, telecoms and microelectronics and other intelligent objects. In 2019, Centech was recognized by UBI Global as one of the most successful university incubators in the world.
In January of this year three cohorts began the acceleration program; an entirely free program that allows founders to materialize their tech projects. The winter 2021 cohort had 3 main themes: Medtech, Industry 4.0 (in partnership with Investment Quebec), and Artificial Intelligence (Supply chain). They went through a 12-week process that includes workshop sessions every 2-weeks hosted by industry experts and in-house entrepreneurs. Centech also offers the participants a personalized experience with one-on-one coaching, expert clinics with varied subjects, and conferences run by entrepreneurs & influential industry personalities. At the end of the acceleration program, the most promising ideas were selected for the propulsion program. They will then have access to even more guidance for the next 2 years.
The propulsion program has many added benefits for these startups:
- Accelerating the development time to develop a ready-to-market product
- Building a strong financial structure that supports business development and viability
- Establishing a business model and a marketing strategy
- A place to work and grow
- The participation of companies is free from any assignment of equity and intellectual property rights.
- Personalized coaching (one-on-one) offered by resident experts.
- And more...
Date: March 23, April 1st and 8th 2021
Where: Online Workshop (available to Propulsion startups only)
During the workshops, Paul will lead a group of early stage startup founders through the SOAP methodology which consists of revisiting and assembling their value proposition, establishing their product mission and strategies, and completing their product roadmap. At Bain Public, we understand the importance of being able to visualize a product’s ecosystem to align product strategies. This ensures long term growth and success of any company and their products.
